Terms and Conditions for Slated

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the Slated mobile application (the "Service") operated by My Local Huddle LLC dba Slated ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Slated is an AI-powered meal planning and grocery list application. It helps users generate weekly meal plans, customize recipes, and organize shopping lists based on user input.

2. Medical & Nutrition Disclaimer

Slated does not provide medical or nutritional advice. The recipes, meal plans, and nutritional information provided by the Service are for informational purposes only.

  • Allergies: While the Service allows you to set dietary exclusions, we cannot guarantee that AI-generated content is 100% free of allergens. You must always verify ingredients before cooking or consuming meals.
  • Health: You should consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new diet. We are not responsible for any adverse health reactions resulting from the use of our recipes.

3. Subscriptions

A. Fees

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (e.g., monthly or annually).

B. Auto-Renewal

Apple App Store & Google Play Store: Your Subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

C. Management and Cancellation

You can manage and cancel your Subscription by going to your Account Settings on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store after purchase. We cannot cancel your subscription for you.

D. Free Trial

We may perform a free trial for a limited period. You may be required to enter your billing information to sign up for the Free Trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged.

4. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of My Local Huddle LLC dba Slated and its licensors.

6. User-Generated Content & AI Usage

  • Input: You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you input into the App.
  • Output: You are granted a non-exclusive right to use the AI-generated recipes and plans for your personal, non-commercial use.

7. Links to Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services (e.g., Instacart, Amazon) that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall My Local Huddle LLC dba Slated, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
